Instead of overarching illuminated skies and folks wearing red, white, and blue, the Annapolis region will be filled with greens, plaids, and big burly men in kilts. No Osprey family bedtimes will be disturbed this week. No, the party will be on dry land, at the Anne Arundel Fairgrounds in Crownsville, MD.
This festival will provide 3 stages of constant, live music with plenty of room for dancing, chairs, and blankets. There will be plenty of food to recharge your dance moves. Whether you crave an Irish meal, local crab cakes, oysters, or an ice-cream cone (or 2 or 3) to cool down – there is plenty to guarantee your return to the dance floor in time. Prefer to dance with your legs free in a kilt but forgot to pack it? There will be plenty of vendors to buy one from!
Now the important part – the music! The tough part is deciding which day to go, so let’s just make it easy and suggest you leave work early on Friday and come both days. You will not want to miss a moment of fun!

So get your kilt on and be Irish for a day at this year’s
Annapolis Irish Festival!
